The Hobgoblins are Killed

The hobgoblins attack me and Khalid. Imoen scores a bull's eye on one of the hobgoblin but Khalid misses with his long sword.



The hobgoblin tries to hit Khalid but he misses as well. Imoen hits an hobgoblin but the arrow bounces off the helmet. The hobgoblin swerves his sword at Khalid again and this time he causes a serious wound. I try to stab an hobgoblin but I miss. Khalid and Jaheira miss as well.



The hobgoblin hits me with his sword and I am wounded. I return the attack but I miss again. Imoen is getting ever better with the bow. She hits an hobgoblin real good. Khalid, though wounded, still lashes at the hobgoblin but he misses. Montaron joins the melee but misses as well. The hobgoblin responds with no luck on his part.

Imoen scores another bull's eye. One hobgoblin, with an arrow across his neck, falls dead on the ground.



One of the two remaining hobgoblins cuts Jaheira down. Even wounded Jaheira hits back. Montaron coming to her rescue stabs the hobgoblin in the back, killing him.



I manage to stab the last hobgoblin. He lashes back at me but misses. Xzar stabs the bastard in the back whilst he is busy with me. He tries to run away now, followed by Imoen arrows. Unfortunately for him, he runs into Khalid that cuts his head off with his long sword.

The Fight is Bloody

"Ouch!"



"This is for Morion!" shouts Imoen, scoring a hit.



"Ah! He got me!" cries Jaheira.




"Take this!" shouts Jaheira.



"And this from me!" cries Montaron.

Big Fight in the Dark

"Gotcha!" shouts Imoen as an arrow hits the target.




"Drat!" protests Imoen when an arrow bounces off the hobgoblin's helm.



"Argh! I'm hit!" shouts Khalid, seriously wounded.

Night Ambush

"I don't think so! - says Imoen - That is not a flamedance ring."
"How do you know?" asks Montaron.
"I know rings!" snaps Imoen.






"This is stupid. It's dark already and we are not going to get anything out of it!" rumbles Montaron.



"Shut up! Here they come again!" cries Jaheira.

The Hobgoblins are Dead

One hobgoblin attacks me and the other one attacks Khalid. Imoen misses the first one but Khalid hits the second one with a powerful slash of his sword. The first hobgoblin turns against Imoen whilst the second one falls to the ground dead.



Imoen hits the remaining hobgoblin with an arrow but the wound is not serious. The hobgoblin lashes his sword against me but the spell of protection works and he misses. Imoen misses the hobgoblin again. The hobgoblin tries again to hit me with the sword but he misses again as well.

Imoen hits him with a second arrow whilst he misses me for the third time.



Everyone now turns against the remaining hobgoblin with two arrows piercing his body.
I hit him with my dagger. He is getting tired and his defenses are down.



Now Jaheira slashes his neck with her knife. He turns to run away. Imoen puts an arrow in his back. He falls dead.



"All right, let's see what we have here."



"This ring must be what that woman was talking about" says Montaron.

One Hobgoblin Down

Hobgoblin Attack

"I have a bad feeling about this" Xzar mutters.
"Don't worry. I cast a spell of protection from evil."
"Right. Like that will make much of a difference." scoffes Xzar.





"Here we go! We are attacked!"




"You will have to meet my arrows!" cries Imoen.
"And my b-b-broad sword!" says Khalid.



"Drat! I missed!" complains Imoen.

Hunting Hobgoblins

"A lady I spoke to says that there are Hobgoblins just to the North of the Friendly Arms that have taken her valuables. We should go there first and get them back!" says Imoen.



"What is in it for us?" asks Xzar.



"Nothing. She will not give us a reward." answers Imoen.



"So, why in the Realms are we going there?" complains Montaron.



"Because we are a good party, that's why!" says Jahira.
