Jondalar and Erik
There is Jondalar, my Master of Arms.
Drat, I didn't memorize any offensive spell! I will have to use my staff. As I try fending Jondalar attacks I get shot with a fake arrow twice. Jondalar hits me good with his training sword a couple of times as well. But I manage to give him a little taste of wood.

Though this is just practice, it is clear that I cannot afford a melee fight. Jondalar hits me three out of three times and Eric hits me with arrows two out of two times, the last one a critical hit.
I manage to hit Jondalar only once and with slight damage.
