Attacked by a Band of Xvarts

Two xvarts jump out of the darkness and attack me straight away. Two more of them follow closely.




Though Khalid, Xzar and Jaheira try to oppose the surprise attack, one of the filthy fellow hacks me. I, Montaron and Imoen join the battle. The xvart attacking me, pierced by one of Imoen's arrow, misses a second hack at me. The other xvarts parry both Jahira and Khalid slashes. The wounded xvart is incapacitated and withdraws from the battle.



One of the xvarts assaults Imoen but she dodges him. Imoen's arrow misses the target.



Imoen, though still under attack by one of the xvarts, who keeps missing her, strikes a bull's eye on the first one again and dispatches him for good.



The xvarts keep parrying Montaron, Jaheira and Imoen but Khalid is able to cut the head off to one of them with his long sword, killing him instantly. A new rapid exchange follows between Imoen, Montaron and a remaining xvart.
